What is BROADLINE?
BROADLINE is an easy to use, topical spot-on product that provides broad spectrum activity against both external and internal parasites, for cats and kittens starting at 8 weeks of age and weighing 0.8kg or more.
How does BROADLINE work?
Extensive scientific research and development have resulted in a unique and effective combination of four active ingredients controlling both external and internal parasites. Fipronil and (S)-methopreneare distributed over the skin and stored in the oils of the skin and hair coat for long-lasting effect against fleas and ticks. Eprinomectin and praziquantel are absorbed across the skin for effective control of roundworms, hookworms and tapeworms.
How does BROADLINE kill fleas?
BROADLINE contains two active ingredients to provide integrated flea control. Fipronil kills adult fleas while the insect growth regulator, (S)-methoprene, controls eggs, larvae and pupae, breaking the flea life cycle at every stage.
How long does it take to kill fleas?
BROADLINE will kill newly acquired fleas on your cat within 8-24 hours.
How often should I treat my cat?
BROADLINE can be used as part of as seasonal deworming programme or routinely every 4-6 weeks for both external and internal parasite control.
Is BROADLINE safe to use on any breed?
BROADLINE is safe and effective in any breed of cat starting at 8 weeks of age and weighing 0.8kg or more.
How do I apply BROADLINE?
To apply BROADLINE pull back the plunger slightly, remove the cap, place the tip of the applicator on the skin. Apply the contents directly on the skin in one spot on the midline of the neck between the base of the skull and the shoulder blades. Refer to the label insert before use.
Can you use BROADLINE on pregnant cats?
BROADLINE has not been evaluated for use on pregnant or lactating cats
Can you use BROADLINE on kittens?
BROADLINE topical spot-on solution can be used on cats or kittens from 8 weeks of age, with a minimum body weight of 0.8 kg.
